It's easy. Simply go to www.smccap.org/cap-subsidy and enter your contact information just once. Then every month just sign in, check off your preferred transit ticket request or one of the other subsidy programs we offer, (print out the form and mail in your check if your program requires it*) That's it! No need to wonder whether or not your subsidy request arrived in our office by the deadline. And the new online system lets you keep track of all of your previous order requests.
Simply log on and create your account. Then remember to submit your request form before the deadline.
If you order up to $75 (or less) worth of transit tickets, you can submit your request online and that's it-your order is confirmed. If you order over $75 worth of transit tickets, you'll need to pay the difference via a personal check or money order made out to the "County of San Mateo". Then, you'll simply print out the receipt and submit it along with the check. You can either mail it via the Pony at DPW-155 or send U.S. mail or drop off at Public Works Dept., 555 County Center, 5th Floor, Redwood City, CA 94063-1665.
Please note, the CAP office must receive your transit ticket request and check no later than the 10th of the current month for tickets to be issued for the upcoming month. Carpool/Bike/Walk subsidy requests are due no later than the 15th of each month. If the deadline falls on a Saturday, Sunday or holiday, we must receive your request by the next business day.
